Now hiring: we are hiring a butcher in Ikwo, Ebonyi State. The role involves: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
