Great opportunity: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Dillingham Census Area, Alaska. The job is on a road construction project. Day to day you will refuel the machine and record running hours; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
