The role involves set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
