Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel Day to day you will check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars.
