Punch press operator • Scott County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a punch press operator in Scott County, Iowa. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout 5+ years on the tools preferred.
