Vacancy available: we are hiring a carpenter in Gloucester County, New Jersey. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Own basic hand tools The role involves: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
