Earthmoving equipment operator • Lafia, Nasarawa State

Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Lafia, Nasarawa State. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
