Urgent requirement: crane rigger (Gombe State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Shomgom, Gombe State. You will be based on a high-rise building site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness The role involves: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Six days a week, one day off.
