Mobile crane operator • Madison County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Madison County, Texas. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. You should have: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) The role involves: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
