Now hiring: we are hiring a finishing presser in Ika, Akwa Ibom State. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Day-to-day duties: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching 1+ years on the tools preferred.
