Foundry labourer wanted in Giade

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Giade, Bauchi State. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Day to day you will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture.
