Heavy equipment operator (dozer) • Gadsden County, Florida

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Gadsden County, Florida. You will be based at an open-cast mine. Day to day you will grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle. What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Rotating shifts.
