The role involves select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Meals and transport allowance provided.
