We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Damboa, Borno State. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. You should have: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches The role involves: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
