Great opportunity: we are hiring a halal butcher in Lincoln County, Nebraska. You will work at a wholesale meat market. You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required On a typical shift you will keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone.
