Brickwork mason wanted in Carson City

Join our team: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Carson City, Nevada. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Pay around $210 per day, based on your experience.
