Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Baker County, Florida. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Day-to-day duties: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters 3+ years on the tools preferred.
