Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Geidam, Yobe State. You will be based on a new-build development. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Day to day you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
