The role involves: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
