Marble cutter — Leh

Great opportunity: we are hiring a marble cutter in Leh, Ladakh. Day-to-day duties: • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound You should bring confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades; good eye for joints, levels and overall finish; able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
