Urgent requirement: we are hiring a counter butcher in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. You will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. Requirements: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required 3+ years on the tools preferred.
