Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Adams County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Adams County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
