We are recruiting: we are hiring a short order cook in Mason County, Illinois. You will work in a hotel kitchen. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat You will label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; prepare the mise en place before each service; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat.
