Join our team: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Stark County, Ohio. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. Requirements: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Your main tasks: • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board Performance bonus on top of base pay.
