Site carpenter — Pope County

Join our team: we are hiring a site carpenter in Pope County, Illinois. Day to day you will hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
