Great opportunity: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Bee County, Texas. The job is on a construction site. On a typical shift you will handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
