Great opportunity: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Toto, Nasarawa State. Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks On the job you will handle: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Score the top of loaves before baking • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
