Now hiring: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Gumel, Jigawa State. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On the job you will handle: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production ₦165,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
