Argon welding operator • Taura, Jigawa State

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Taura, Jigawa State. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
