Toolroom milling operator — Abakaliki

Great opportunity: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron On the job you will handle: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
