Urgent requirement: we are hiring an ironing operator in Mobile County, Alabama. The job is in a busy laundry. The role involves give each garment a final press before packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
