Now hiring: aluminium TIG welder (Rivers State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Omumma, Rivers State. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols On a typical shift you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
