The role involves sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; season and marinate meat on request. What we are looking for: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
