Furniture maker wanted in Douglas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furniture maker in Douglas County, Nevada. The job is at a shopfitting company. You should have: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height The role involves: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
