Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Jackson County, Georgia. The job is on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent The role involves: • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
