Milling machinist wanted in Vanderburgh County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machinist in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. On a typical shift you will carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Full-time, day shift.
