Kitchen cook — Jefferson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Jefferson County, Kentucky. You will work in a hospital or office canteen. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets On a typical shift you will follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
