The role involves log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; report defects and book the unit in for servicing.
