Great opportunity: we are hiring a site carpenter in Ukwa West, Abia State. The job is at a shopfitting company. Requirements: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Your main tasks: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together Full-time, day shift.
