Banksman — Bonny

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a banksman in Bonny, Rivers State. You will be based at a shipyard. The role involves fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; read lift plans and method statements before starting; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
