Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. The role involves: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Season and marinate meat on request • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
