Now hiring: we are hiring a waitress in Windsor County, Vermont. You will work in a café. On the job you will handle: • Coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left • Clear and reset tables between covers What we are looking for: • Ability to carry loaded trays and stay on your feet for long shifts • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
