Join our team: we are hiring a bench joiner in Kent, England. The job is at a shopfitting company. On a typical shift you will assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level. Requirements: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
