Immediate opening: we are hiring a laundry presser in Spokane County, Washington. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep On the job you will handle: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Six days a week, one day off.
