You should have: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish On a typical shift you will dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush.
