Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Linn County, Oregon. You should have: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites On the job you will handle: • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience.
