Great opportunity: pastry baker (Cross River State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a pastry baker in Akpabuyo, Cross River State. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Score the top of loaves before baking Ideal candidate: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Pay around ₦850 per hour, based on your experience.
