Bodyshop painter — Ahoada West

You should have: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Able to read and match factory paint codes Day-to-day duties: • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch Rotating shifts.
