Immediate opening: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Middlesex County, New Jersey. Requirements: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards You will knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; prepare the mise en place before each service; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
