Join our team: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Rich County, Utah. The role involves break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
